Job Title: Rad Tech 2 - CMH Cardiovascular Invasive

Job Summary: The Rad Tech 2 assists cardiologists in performing invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiologic procedures. Responsibilities include technical hemodynamic monitoring, interpretation using automated techniques, and providing patient care. The role involves operating electrical/imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, maintaining aseptic techniques, and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of applicable experience
\n
• Knowledge of hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology
\n
• Competency in moderate sedation administration and policy protocol
\n
• Knowledge of EP concepts, theory, and fluoroscopic anatomy
\n
• Ability to recognize and assist in treating complications from procedures
\n
• Proficiency in sterile table setup and patient preparation
\n
• Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging equipment
\n
• Advanced EKG interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
\n
• Basic computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheet, email, web browser)
\n
• Multicultural sensitivity
\n

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in a related field OR Certificate of completion for Radiology Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• IEMA (Illinois state) License in Rad Technology

• ARRT Registration in Radiology
