Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum/Nursery position requiring a HI RN license and at least 3 years of L&D experience.

Details\n
    \n
  • Work in the Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units of a hospital setting
  • \n
  • L&D unit has 8 labor beds and Postpartum unit has 18 beds
  • \n
  • Care for laboring mothers, assist with deliveries, and provide immediate newborn and post-delivery maternal care
  • \n
  • Uses Meditech computerized charting system
  • \n
  • Uses GE/Centricity fetal monitoring system
  • \n
  • Variable shift schedule with both day and night shifts possible
  • \n
  • 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours weekly following the first week of orientation
  • \n
  • Scheduled 12-hour call required at least once per month
  • \n
  • No guarantee of specific hours or shift preference
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active HI RN license required by start of assignment (may apply upon offer acceptance if not currently held)
  • \n
  • Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
  • \n
  • Current BLS certification required
  • \n
  • Current NRP certification required
  • \n
  • STABLE certification recommended
  • \n
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification recommended
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
  • \n
  • Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
  • \n
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
