This position is a hybrid role (3 days a week in the office) based out of our Raleigh, NC office with convenient access to I-40, US-1, and 440.
Day to day, we use Rails 7, Ruby, RSpec, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Rocky Linux and GitHub.REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Foundational Ruby on Rails Experience – You've built applications or completed projects using Ruby on Rails and are eager to grow your expertise in a production environment.
- Problem-Solving Mindset – You enjoy digging into issues, identifying root causes, and crafting effective solutions that make a real impact for users.
- Strong Communicator – You can clearly and professionally communicate ideas, updates, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player Mentality – You collaborate well with cross-functional teams including support engineers, QA, product owners, and senior developers.
- Eagerness to Learn – You’re passionate about leveling up your technical skills and are excited to take ownership of your growth and development.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting Skills – You're comfortable using tools and logs to investigate problems and are ready to roll up your sleeves to help solve them.
- Attention to Detail – You care about clean code, thorough testing, and delivering quality work.
- Customer-Oriented Thinking – You’re always mindful of how your work affects the end user and strive to improve their experience.
- Database Knowledge – You have a working understanding of relational databases (like PostgreSQL or MySQL), can write basic queries, and are familiar with how Rails interacts with data.
- Linux is your Friend - You’re comfortable navigating the command line, using shell tools, and working in a Linux-based development or production environment.
- Strong Educational Background – B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field
- Knowledge of the data center domain, energy management and DCIM tools
- Familiarity with Rsync, Systemd, SSH tunnels
- Experienced with TypeScript and Angular (or other JavaScript frameworks such as React)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
- Unix systems administration
- JSON:API / OpenAPI / Swagger
