*Pay: $15.50/Hr
*Shift: 6:45AM-3:15PM + OT IF SCHEDULED
You will be responsible for unpacking, sorting, and preparing incoming components for the assembly line, ensuring that all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Unpacking & Sorting: Carefully remove incoming hardware, electronic components, and server parts from original manufacturer packaging (de-trashing).
Waste Management: Efficiently separate and dispose of cardboard, plastics, and foam according to facility recycling and waste protocols.
Inventory Verification: Scan or manually record incoming items to ensure part numbers and quantities match the packing slips/work orders.
Material Prep: Organize "de-trashed" items onto carts or conveyors to be moved to the production floor or storage areas.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace. Adhere to all ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols when handling sensitive electronic components.
Required Qualifications
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (8–10 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Attention to Detail: Precision in identifying part numbers and ensuring no damage occurs during the unpacking process.
Communication: Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
