Packing Associate - Repack - Full-time / Part-time

Our Client is a contract packer or co-packer, co-packs ready to drink beverage products in aluminum cans ranging from juices, energy drinks, teas and carbonated soda drinks in a wide variety of aluminum can sizes.

Summary

The Packaging Associate is responsible for transforming Work in Progress (WIP) into a finished good configuration. This is done through a manual process of unpacking and repacking product.

Duties

• Wrap and unwrap pallets of finished goods
• Sort finished can products on a fast-paced conveyor
• Conduct housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of workstation and all areas of the warehouse.
• Remain in a station which rotates throughout the entire shift unless otherwise instructed by Lead, Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
• 6 months prior experience working in a team environment 
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with fellow employees 
• Ability to maintain effectiveness (quality) and efficiency (productivity) in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of good attendance in past roles
• Prior experience working in a production/manufacturing environment, food/beverage manufacturing highly preferred.
• Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes including safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory processes, etc.
• Prior experience following GMPs preferred

Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-2:00am (call for current availability)

Location: Clackamas

Pay: Starting at $18/hr (differential for certain overnight hours)
