Salary: $90k – $100k base plus bonus

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly payroll and benefits reconciliations and analyses, creating correcting journal entries as needed.
• Review related monthly accruals and allocations to confirm they are recorded and adjusted properly.
• Confirm accuracy of automated postings on a monthly basis; prepare manual entries as needed.
• Run reports on equity compensation.
• Address questions from business unit accountants and provide information to internal and external auditors.
• Perform analytical reviews of payroll and benefit accounts.
• Develop strong understanding of costing structures across the company.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly deliverables for select teams within the company.
• Partner with the team responsible for processing payroll and related accruals, evaluating the effect on the GL.
• Participate in system upgrades and implementations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX.
• Assist other team members within Corporate Accounting as needed.
• Participate in special projects.
• Support special projects and provide backup for corporate accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Proficient with Excel, including pivot tables.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
