Job Description
Royer is looking for a Quality Lead. This position would be responsible for managing
the quality, safety and scrap programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor the quality team: Providing
guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
Develop and implement training: Educating all Royer employees on our quality management
system.
Communicate effectively: Disseminating information, addressing inquiries, and serving as a liaison
between different departments and locations
Developing and implementing: SOPs and procedures for QC personnel.
Oversee quality control activities: Ensuring products and processes meet quality requirements.
Conduct quality audits: Evaluating processes and products to ensure compliance with standards and
regulations.
Monitor and analyze data: Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality metrics to identify areas for
improvement.
Ensure corrective actions are implemented: Addressing quality issues and implementing solutions
to prevent recurrence.
Maintain documentation: Ensuring all quality-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and
readily available.
Develop and maintain a scrap monitoring program.
Perform safety audits: to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Issue corrective actions: to internal departments.
Knowledge of the following is a plus, but not required:
Previous experience in quality control, injection molding
Google Workspace
Large Format Printing
ISO 9001
Lean Manufacturing or TPS
This position is within a state operated secure environment, background clearance is required. This position
will report to the Quality Manager. This position will work on a flexible 40-hour per week schedule and daily
working hours will be discussed during training.
Rate of Pay: $20/hr - $25/hr
- Employment includes access to our Industrial Clinic at Britt Family Medicine, where both convenient care and primary care options are available. This clinic provides a large range of medications in-house, as well as supplies for a large array of chronic health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. These appointments, medications, and supplies are completely free to the employee.
Employees also have the opportunity to earn the privilege of participating in the PEP program. Employees must be pre-approved to participate in PEP.
