Litigation Attorney Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.
• JD from a reputable law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice in California (and/or Arizona).
• Discovery and Law and Motion experience.
• Experience with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
• State and Federal court experience.

Litigation Attorney Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in aviation, products liability, and automotive warranty.
• Superior writing and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Litigation Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations as required.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis, drafting memoranda as needed.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleadings through trial.
