About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate on-site coating crews for efficient workflow and project success.
• Oversee and perform surface preparation: blasting, grinding, and cleaning.
• Apply industrial coatings including epoxy, urethane, and specialty systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain equipment and materials for optimal readiness.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
• Document progress, quality checks, and incident reports.
• Train and mentor crew members in coating techniques and safety practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial coating, blasting, painting, or floor applications.
• Proven leadership in a foreman or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of coating systems, surface prep standards, and application techniques.
• Ability to work long hours, including weekends and overtime.
• Willingness to travel extensively (Friday–Monday schedule).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to relocate to South Central Minnesota.

Preferred Skills

• Industrial painting and coating expertise.
• Spray gun experience.
• Familiarity with epoxy and polyurethane systems.

Work Environment

• 95% indoor work on a shutdown basis.
• Primarily Friday–Monday schedule with varying hours.
• Extensive travel and overtime required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waseca, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
