Rowland Veterinary Services is looking for a reliable, hands-on Veterinary Assistant to join our growing mixed-animal team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves variety in their day � from assisting in small animal exam rooms & surgeries to supporting farm calls � and takes pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

In this role, you will provide assistance to Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, including gentle animal handling and restraint during outpatient procedures such as physical exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You will prepare and clean patient areas throughout the day including exam rooms and procedural/treatment areas, anticipating team needs and ensuring preparedness and efficiency.

Schedule: Full-time position offering a 4x10 schedule, Monday�Friday. No on-call or emergency hours!

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $13-15 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive & current Vet Assistant experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Previous Large animal experience is REQUIRED
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Basic animal restraint and handling
  • Ability to obtain vital signs & gather a detailed patient history
  • Medical record keeping
  • Client communication & education
  • Oral medication administration
