Internal Auditor

Essential functions for the Role

• Plans and executes audit engagements, including data analysis and testing, according to the Annual Audit Plan.
• Evaluates internal control system and ensures adherence to applicable laws.
• Performs risk assessment and internal control evaluations and detects discrepancies.
• Prepares and presents audit reports to the Head of Internal Audit.
• Monitors the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Stays updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing.  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.

• Master’s Degree in a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in internal auditing.
• Professional Certification (CIA, CISA, CFE) is required.
• Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS).
• Excellent knowledge of English language (both oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of ΜS Office applications
• Knowledge of using audit management software will be considered as an asset.
