Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a Quality Control Inspector Senior Level in Houston, TX 77099.

Job Description:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and metric dimensions (mm).
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs), in-process, and final inspections on machined and assembled medical device components.
• Utilize a range of precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, pin gauges, nonconformities, and communicate the findings to the optical comparators and surface finish testers.
• Operate or support the operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), preferred but not required.
• Document inspection results using inspection forms.
• Identify nonconformities and communicate the findings to the manufacturing and QA teams.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow ISO 13485 and internal QMS requirements.

Job Requirements:

• 5-10 years of quality inspection experience (Senior Level) in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, or precision machining preferred). Oil & Gas
• Technical Expertise – Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Strong ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, including GD&T.
• Proficiency with metric system measurements. (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, height gauges
• Familiarity with the use and care of precision measuring instruments.
• Working knowledge of CMMs is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Schedule: 1st shift - Monday-Friday - 7 am to 3:30 pm

Pay:

$24.00-26.00 hourly, We pay weekly!
