Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time General Food Service Employee.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Weekends required.
• Requirement: 1-2 years of experience required.

Job Summary 

The Food Service Worker plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service environments by performing a variety of tasks such as preparing and serving food, setting up service areas, assisting with catering, and maintaining cleanliness. This position supports the team in delivering an exceptional dining experience for customers. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities 

• Setup & Preparation: Assist with setting up food service areas, including kitchen, salad, or bakery stations, ensuring that equipment and utensils are in place according to specific needs. Check food temperatures and prepare areas for daily operations.
• Food Transport: Move food and supplies from the kitchen or prep areas to the serving site using carts or by carrying items.
• Hot & Cold Food Lines: Set up food lines by following prescribed procedures, selecting appropriate utensils, and adjusting temperatures for menu items.
• Food Preparation: Prepare or assist in preparing a variety of food items, such as hot and cold meat and vegetable dishes, salads, sandwiches, beverages, and simple baked goods.
• Customer Service: Serve food items to customers, ensuring proper portion sizes and following specific instructions.
• Catering Support: Assist with catering operations as needed.
• Station Maintenance: Replenish food, silverware, glassware, and trays at serving stations, and order condiments when necessary.
• Ice Cream & Yogurt Machines: Fill and maintain ice cream, yogurt, and ice machines, ensuring they are cleaned regularly.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized, including washing dishes, utensils, and service ware. Handle garbage and trash appropriately.
• Dishwashing: Wash pots, pans, and other kitchenware, ensuring sanitary handling, and organize service ware for reuse.
• Cashiering: Perform cashiering duties if required.

• Team Guidance: Provide assistance and guidance to other employees performing related duties.
• Additional Duties: Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.
