POSITION PURPOSE:         

Supports the patient care team by providing upkeep and preventative maintenance on CGH floors. Provides floor and carpet maintenance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Identifies floor maintenance requirements

• Identifies preventative maintenance required for all types of flooring.

• Develops and updates a schedule for floor work required and communicates it to those necessary.

• Communicates supplies needed to maintain floors to supervisor, ensuring adequate supplies are in stock.

• Communicates flooring machine maintenance concerns, including flooring pads or other machine attachment concerns to supervisor.

• Performs a variety of routine manual duties as required. This includes, but is not limited to, room set ups, curtain changes, and distribution of cleaning supplies to cleaning closets and store rooms.

• Identifies mechanical deficiencies throughout the facility and reports them to POM for correction.

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum two years’ experience in floor care strongly preferred.

Compensation Range

$16.00 - $24.00
