American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Unit travel position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license and availability for night shifts every other weekend.
Details- Acute care hospital Medical Unit (Med/Surg Adult) setting
- Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Floating to other units may be required
- 13-week contract
- Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS/CPR, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Flu vaccination required
- Education verification required for consideration
- Prior Med/Surg (adult) RN experience required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state practice standards
- Participate in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
- Apply critical thinking to support patient safety and escalate concerns through the appropriate chain of command
