Software Engineer

HumCap's client, a software company in the hospitality space, is looking for an experienced Software Engineer that has a passion for learning and trying out all technology. This position will be about innovating new ideas requiring knowledge across disciplines from mobile services, mobile apps, to databases and web UIs. This right candidate loves to learn on the fly and create proof of concepts but has enough experience to also create code that can be used in production environments. This is a hybrid position in Plano, TX.
 
Responsibilities

• Enhance existing products
• Create rapid prototypes of new ideas either mobile or cloud
• Provide development support to cloud or mobile projects
• Create tools to help internal teams

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure services including Azure Functions, App Service, Event Grid, Event Hub, Message queues, storage, databases, etc..
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, Javascript, TypeScript
• Experience with React JS and JavaScript frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
