Job Description
Industrial Inspection & Analysis is looking to fill a CAL-OSHA Safety Inspector position at our Lift Services location in California.
Summary
This Safety Inspector will help in supporting our inspection services in accordance with applicable CAL-OSHA and ANSI standards, as well as any additional standards required by the owner.
Applicants must be an approved surveyor under Title 8, California Code of Regulations.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for troubleshooting and Inspection on all makes of aerial boom, scissor lifts, overhead and/or mobile cranes and derricks.
- Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance inspections on vehicles and equipment such as (Trailers, Aerial Devices, Digger Derricks, Mobile and/or Overhead Cranes).
- Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals.
- Positive interface.
- Prepare proper documentation of inspection reports.
- Perform multiple inspections throughout day on equipment.
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Must be an approved surveyor under Title 8, California Code of Regulations.
- Visual/operational inspection.
- Dielectric testing (AC or DC) of fiberglass booms, basket liners, hydraulic oil, insulated upper controls.
- Stability load testing.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Punctual.
- Be able to communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Valid Driver License.
