Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography (CT) is based in Weaverville, California. This role involves performing imaging examinations in all modalities with proficiency, following all applicable federal and state regulations. The position requires a licensed professional capable of delivering quality imaging services while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shifts, totaling 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program with an Associate of Science Degree; Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification preferred; Two years of experience in an Acute Care setting preferred; Experience in at least two modalities; Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may be substituted for Acute Care experience; BLS Certification required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CT (if applicable) and additional modalities.
- Additional Information: The Radiologic Technologist performs duties involving imaging equipment in all modalities with proficiency. Responsibilities include patient positioning, equipment safety, emergency response, documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Flexibility to adjust staffing patterns and participate in quality improvement activities is expected. The role emphasizes effective communication and self-reliance in a small rural hospital setting.
