American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington, performing both CT and X-ray duties across a 4x10 block schedule.
Details- Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
- CT Scan unit performing both CT and X-ray imaging
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Night shift, Monday through Thursday, 4x10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- After midnight, the tech operates as the sole imaging professional on shift, responsible for both CT and X-ray
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- No unit floating required
- Charting via Epic (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Current CT and X-ray (radiography) certifications required
- Active WA state license required if applicable
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Proficiency in both CT scanning and X-ray imaging required
- Ability to independently manage CT and X-ray responsibilities during overnight hours
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- This position involves performing both CT scans and X-rays — not CT imaging alone
- After midnight, the technologist is the sole imaging tech on shift handling all CT and X-ray needs
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Scrubs are any color
- No parking fee
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred
