We are a well-established property management firm based in Highland, NY, seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across our portfolio of residential properties. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage people, prioritize work, and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of property maintenance technicians
• Assign, schedule, and prioritize daily and long-term maintenance work
• Perform regular property inspections and ensure preventative maintenance is completed
• Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related issues
• Troubleshoot complex maintenance problems and step in hands-on when needed
• Coordinate and manage outside vendors and contractors
• Track work orders, materials, and maintenance costs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company policies
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff

Requirements

• 5+ years of property maintenance or building maintenance experience
• Prior experience supervising or managing maintenance technicians
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general construction
• Ability to lead a team and hold technicians accountable
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable with basic maintenance software or work order systems
