Job Overview

The To Go Specialist is responsible for supporting our guests and third-party vendors for all take-out services and is dedicated to ensuring an amazing take-out experience for guests. The ideal candidate is someone who is a hard worker, a self-starter, maintains a strong work ethic, and possesses the intangibles we are looking for - helpful, kind, fun to be around, and guest-obsessed. Rate of Pay: $10 an hour plus tips!

Shift Availability:  Wed-Sat Dinner Shifts - Weekends are a Must!

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Provide a welcoming phone greeting within three rings and follow guest ordering procedures, warm greeting, accurate service timing, and order preparation
• Knowledge of the POS system and online ordering procedures. 
• Know how to troubleshoot any issues that can arise from ordering to payment processing. 
• Accurately use the POS system to send orders to the kitchen by recording guests’ choices, identifying guests’ special dietary needs, and special requests.
• Cash Handling guidelines followed. Ensure all checks are closed accurately.
• Stay updated on current menu items and specials, and know if the kitchen staff is running out of any item, etc.
• Make beverages (as needed) and deliver to the guest or the delivery driver at the time of pick-up
• Ensure that all items are prepared to specification and packaged correctly
• Ensure that all items needed to execute to-go's are present and stocked (boxes, bags, plastic flatware, cups, etc.)
• Perform side duties, daily and weekly cleaning tasks as directed by management.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently - dress code followed.
• Promptly address customer service issues and refer to management when necessary.
• Have a friendly, outgoing disposition and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
