POSITION SUMMARY
The Panel Builder is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in OptiCool cooling systems. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to electrical standards, and the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams. The ideal candidate will ensure panels are built accurately, safely, and on schedule to meet customer and project requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Panel Assembly:
o Build electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications.
o Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
· Wiring and Connections:
o Perform precise wiring of components following schematics and wiring diagrams.
o Ensure proper labeling and routing of wires for clarity and maintenance.
· Quality Assurance:
o Inspect panels for compliance with safety and quality standards.
o Conduct functional tests to verify proper operation before shipment.
· Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of assembly and testing procedures.
o Report any discrepancies or design issues to engineering.
· Safety Compliance:
o Follow all electrical safety protocols and company guidelines.
o Use appropriate PPE and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills)
· High school diploma or technical certification in electrical or electronics.
· 2+ years of experience in electrical panel building or industrial wiring.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
· Familiarity with UL standards and NEC codes.
· Basic knowledge of PLCs and control systems preferred.

· Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools and power tools.
· Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting wiring and component issues.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
