Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a compact/OK RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Work in the Med/Surg unit of a 25-bed hospital department
\n
• Care for inpatient and sling bed patient populations
\n
• Patient ratio of 6:1
\n
• Uses EPIC EMR system
\n
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 shifts
\n
• Required to work every other weekend (7a-7p)
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• No floating required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (Compact or OK State) currently in hand
\n
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
\n
• PALS certification preferred
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
\n
• Self-motivated personality fit preferred
\n
• Black scrubs required
\n
• Unnatural nail styles and unnatural hair colors not permitted
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provide direct nursing care to inpatient and sling bed Med/Surg patients
\n
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
\n
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are subject to local candidate rules
\n
