Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift hospital position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Inpatient Med/Surg unit with 25 beds including sling bed patients
\n
• Patient ratio of 6:1
\n
• Night shift, 3x12 schedule with every other weekend (7a-7p) required
\n
• No call requirements
\n
• No floating required
\n
• Uses EPIC EMR
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (OK state or Compact) required at time of submission
\n
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
\n
• PALS certification preferred
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
\n
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
\n
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
\n
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
\n

Additional Information\n

• Self-motivated personality fit preferred for this fast-paced unit
\n
• Black scrubs required; unnatural nails and unnatural hair colors not permitted
\n
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
\n
• Local candidates accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to specific contract and rehire restrictions
