Position Title: Clinic Director (Physical Therapist)
Location: Sanford, NC
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week
Work Setting: Onsite
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 annually (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 available
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinic Director (Physical Therapist) to lead an outpatient physical therapy clinic while maintaining a strong clinical presence. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who is ready to step into leadership, mentor clinicians, and drive both patient outcomes and team performance.
The Clinic Director will balance hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, supporting clinical excellence, professional development, and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Review and assess patient medical histories
- Diagnose patients by observing movement and listening to patient concerns
- Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals and expected outcomes
- Utilize therapeutic exercise, stretching, equipment, and hands-on manual therapy
- Manage pain, improve mobility, and prevent further injury
- Document patient progress and adjust plans of care as needed
Leadership & Clinic Oversight
- Serve as a clinical leader and mentor to staff
- Support professional growth and development of clinicians
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing clinic culture
- Contribute to clinic operations and overall performance
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of North Carolina
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
