Position Summary
Make a real impact every day in this Mountain Top based role providing dedicated ABA services to one awesome individual! Build meaningful connections while helping someone grow skills and independence. Work alongside a small and dedicated team. This role is based in Mountain Top and service locations include being in the home and out in the community.
Job Duties:
- Mandatory-rotation team schedule include evening and weekends
- Regular mandatory "mini" staff team meetings with Team Lead (typically monthly during the week or on Saturdays as requested), coordinated and scheduled with Team Lead in advance.
- Following quarterly team meeting or monthly scheduled "mini" team meetings please be prepared to collaborate on next quarter's direct service schedule availability, and any RBL team business matters.
- Staff will promptly respond to Team Lead scheduling inquiries by no later than the requested deadline. Every effort will be made to accommodate staff scheduling preferences.
- Training and providing ongoing, appropriate support for new and experienced staff is a high priority on the team. Sufficient initial training is a time consuming investment therefore we respectfully request a commitment of at least one year.
- To minimize/avoid inconsistencies, staff is accountable for remaining current on team notes/recommendations from Team Lead and/or supervising BCBA including:
- Promptly implementing ongoing program curricular revisions, and/or
- Promptly ask questions about application of program treatment adjustments if needed
- Mandatory quarterly team meetings with supervising BCBA (typically 7 hours on Saturdays quarterly @ roughly 3 months). At each quarterly meeting staff should be prepared to commit to schedule following quarterly team meeting.
- Regular mandatory "mini" staff team meetings with Team Lead (typically monthly during the week or on Saturdays as requested), coordinated and scheduled with Team Lead in advance.
- Regular mandatory scheduled supervision with each staff and Team Lead during staff session (typically weekly or as requested), coordinated and scheduled with Team Lead in advance.
- Occasionally staff may be asked to participate in a virtual consultation with and as determined by Team Lead and supervising BCBA. Invites to participate in specific consults will be sent in advance.
- Staff will promptly report directly to the Team Lead as RBL liaison questions/concerns regarding team matters including programming, scheduling, billing and housekeeping/admin or miscellaneous topics.
- Microsoft Teams is primarily used to communicate day-to-day issues, consult notes, program revisions and more. When requested please reply promptly to inquires.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds
Education and Experience Requirements
- Previous professional and/or personal experience working with adults with Intellectual Disabilities is preferred, but not required.
