Area Maintenance (90 Columbia Street)

Hours: Part-time (21 hours per week)

Work days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Day-time Shifts:

• 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Site Locations: 90 Columbia Street Brooklyn NY 11201

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grass has to be cut if and when necessary
• Clean bathrooms and locker room
• Sweeping, mopping,wipe down counters,refill toilet paper and paper towels,soap and hand sanitizer
• Wipe down kitchen sink and faucet
• Wipe down counters and all tables in kitchens
• Empty all trash cans in restrooms, offices and kitchens
• Replace can liners
• Pick up trash around the area
• Sweep all garages
• Clean Microwave
• Deep cleaning the fridge
• Refill snacks and water dispensers ion fridge
• Wipe down inside and outside of trash cans
• Clean eye wash stations
• Mandatory snow removal and posiible overtime

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 1 year of recent janitorial experience
• Must have a working phone that is able to download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Must be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments which would reasonably be expected to interfere with the performance of the services or prevent you from being able to walk your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be age 18 or over
• Must have some cleaning / debris clean up experience
