• Assignment Type: Locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Location: Oneida, New York (NY)
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: August 30, 2026
• Duration: 41 weeks
• Shifts per Week: 3 (12-hour day shifts)
• Total Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia (6 operating rooms)
• Case Types: General anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, OB anesthesia
• Charting System: Paper and Meditech
• Supervision: 2:1 CRNA to physician anesthesiologist ratio
• On-Call: No in-house or pager call required

CRNA Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Eligible or willing to obtain New York state CRNA license
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical CRNA experience required

CRNA Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed patient consent
• Educate patients about anesthesia options and associated risks
• Administer induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB surgical cases
• Monitor and document patients’ physiological status throughout procedures
• Provide clinical interventions and emergency response as needed
• Collaborate with supervising physician anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
