Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist seeking a contract position for the 2026-2027 school year! Provide essential OT services to a diverse group of elementary and middle school students, supporting academic success and enhancing participation in daily school activities. The role covers two engaging school environments and starts in early August, continuing through the end of May.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering both direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Managing a caseload of approximately 50 students across elementary and middle school age groups.
  • Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and staff to implement strategies that promote student independence.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining thorough documentation for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Consulting regularly with educators and families to ensure continuity in care and progress toward goals.
  • Flexibly adapting to changing needs and maintaining a supportive presence throughout the duration of the assignment.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (OT) required, with eligibility to practice in the state.
  • Experience supporting school-aged children, preferably within elementary and middle school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a large, varied caseload with both direct service and consultation responsibilities.
