Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll provide expert care and guidance, helping students reach their fullest potential while collaborating with a talented educational team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon, or the ability to obtain one before the contract begins
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred, especially in diverse K-12 settings
  • Strong knowledge of school-based OT best practices, IEP development, and documentation
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Adaptability and creativity in delivering individual and group interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students on-site across K-12 classrooms, focusing on enhancing participation in academics and school activities
  • Assess and evaluate students’ needs, developing individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with families and team members
  • Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive devices
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support students’ development and independence
