Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact supporting K-12 students in Polk County during the 2025-2026 school year as a vital member of the educational support team. This contract opportunity offers a full-time, 40-hour workweek and the chance to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services within a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) for Oregon
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and IEP process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Organizational skills for timely documentation and service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students across the K-12 range
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy, consultative services, and classroom interventions to support students’ educational success
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student outcomes
- Train and support school staff in the integration of therapy strategies within daily instruction
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
