Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support at a school located in Citrus Heights, CA. This role requires a licensed professional with a PPS Credential and California School Psychologist License to conduct comprehensive assessments, participate actively in IEP meetings, and support the special education (SPED) team through detailed evaluations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of students to identify their educational and psychological needs.
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop appropriate individualized education programs.
- Prepare detailed reports after evaluations to guide instructional strategies and interventions.
- Provide direct support to the SPED team and assist in monitoring student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to state guidelines for assessments and reporting.
- Work onsite in the Citrus Heights school to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Valid California School Psychologist License.
- PPS Credential.
- Experience working within school settings conducting evaluations and supporting special education programs.
