Litigation Associate Attorney –| $140k-$152k| California (hybrid)
A well-regarded California-based law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of experience to join its expanding civil litigation practice. The team represents public agencies, private entities, and individuals in a wide range of complex litigation matters and is known for its collaborative culture, strong mentorship, and high-quality advocacy.

The OpportunityThe firm is seeking a junior Litigation Associate to join its growing litigation team. This role offers hands-on experience across all phases of civil litigation and the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners in a collegial, fast-paced environment. Attorneys are given early responsibility and meaningful client exposure.
This is a hybrid position based in California.
ResponsibilitiesSupport partners and senior attorneys in all stages of civil litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on substantive legal issues
Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules
Participate in client interviews, witness preparation, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active California Bar membership
1–2 years of civil litigation experience
Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Competitive compensation: $140,000–$152,000, plus annual performance-based bonuses
