We are building a brand dedicated to exceptional hospitality, culinary excellence, and innovative operations. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Restaurant Operations to be a key leader in our expansion journey.


The Role:

The Director of Restaurant Operations will be responsible for overseeing the successful launch and ongoing operational excellence of our restaurants, starting with new unit openings. This leader will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and executing the systems and standards that will define our brand and ensure scalable growth. This role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker with a proven track record in multi-unit operations and team development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Store Openings (NSOs): Lead and manage all operational aspects of new restaurant openings, ensuring a seamless and high-quality launch experience. This includes pre-opening planning, vendor coordination, system setup, and final readiness.
  • Systems Development & Execution: Efficiently develop, build, and execute all new operational systems and standards across the brand, covering front-of-house, back-of-house, inventory management, and guest service. Ensure these systems are documented, scalable, and consistently applied.
  • Hiring, Training, and Development: Oversee and implement robust strategies for hiring, training, and development of all restaurant leadership and team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive exceptional performance in all restaurants by monitoring key metrics, ensuring adherence to brand standards, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction, food quality, and facility upkeep.
  • Financial Performance: Manage restaurant budgets, drive sales growth, and control costs (labor, food, operating expenses) to ensure profitability across all locations.
  • Leadership: Serve as a motivating and inspiring leader, directly managing General Managers and supporting them in developing their teams and resolving operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in multi-unit restaurant operations, with a significant focus on full-service dining.
  • Extensive, hands-on experience in new store openings (NSOs) is essential.
  • Proven ability to develop, build, and execute new operating systems from the ground up, demonstrating high efficiency and organizational skill.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and professional development of restaurant management and staff.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L statements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to support new and existing units.

Compensation:

  • $125,000 to $145,000 BOE
