We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Excavating Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in sewer line installation, water service connections, and basement excavation projects. This role involves operating hand tools, supporting heavy equipment operators, and ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation for sewer, water, and basement projects.
• Prepare and maintain work areas, including trenching and backfilling.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment as required.
• Support heavy equipment operators by signaling and guiding.
• Load and unload materials and equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in excavation or construction preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of basic construction tools and practices.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
