Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We are seeking a dedicated Mailroom Clerk III to support our corporate office environment in Reading, PA. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of mail and package handling, clerical support, and administrative functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Mail Processing & Distribution: Efficiently sort and distribute incoming interoffice and U.S. mail, ensuring timely delivery across departments.
- Package Handling: Receive, accept, and deliver packages via UPS, FedEx, and Office Depot, maintaining accurate records of shipments.
- Outgoing Mail Operations: Apply postage, process outgoing UPS shipments, and ensure compliance with mailing standards.
- Clerical & Administrative Support: Assist with data entry, record keeping, invoice processing, and general administrative duties to support departmental functions.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to internal and external customers, addressing inquiries and follow-ups promptly.
- Safety & Confidentiality: Uphold a strong safety mindset and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Additional Support: Maintain appointment calendars, coordinate meetings, assist with travel arrangements, and support special project initiatives.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience in mailroom, administrative, or clerical roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong typing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Physical capability to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- A proactive, questioning attitude with a focus on learning, results, and building professional relationships.
- Strong commitment to safety and accuracy.
