Public Area Cleaner Supervisor

Position Summary: As the Public Area Cleaning (PAC) Supervisor, you are responsible for cleaning (this is a working Supervisor) the public areas of The Lantern Hotel Columbia.  The PAC Supervisor will schedule the PACs and oversee their work while also performing many of the same functions.

Essential Job Functions 

• Execute and oversee the cleaning of all indoor/ outdoor Public Areas of The Lantern Columbia.  
• Set the schedule of PACs each week.
• Train new PACs ensuring they meet the high standards of The Lantern Columbia.  
• Inspect the work of the PACs, providing documented feed forward where necessary.  
• Work shifts to remain hands-on while leading the team of PACs.  
• Perform all duties that a PAC performs.  
• Oversee any public area, third-party contracted work (window cleaning, steam cleaning of carpets) with the assistance of the Director of Rooms.  
• Maintain all health and safety guidelines. 
• Attend meetings as requested.   

Experience and Education: 

Experience cleaning in a hotel, commercial building, or hospital along with supervising a team is greatly preferred.  Knowing floor care is also greatly preferred.  

We need a minimum of a High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
