Full Time Barista

At Beach Hippie Coffee, our baristas are storytellers, culture carriers, and the heartbeat of the guest experience. We’re a small-batch specialty roaster with a deep love for coffee, community, and caffeine-fueled joy — and we’re looking for a full-time barista who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and genuinely loves serving people.

As a full-time barista, you will work on semi-automatic espresso equipment, preparing drinks with care, consistency, and intention, even during peak volume. At any given time, you may be responsible for managing 15–30+ drinks staged at once, while maintaining cleanliness, composure, and Beach Hippie Coffee standards throughout the workflow.

This role requires both technical skill and heart — precision on bar and warmth with guests.

• Crafting espresso-based and specialty beverages using semi-automatic espresso machines
• Executing drinks with speed, accuracy, and consistency during high-volume periods
• Managing multiple drink tickets simultaneously while maintaining quality
• Keeping the bar clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout service
• Following Beach Hippie Coffee recipes, workflows, and standards
• Communicating clearly and effectively with teammates during busy shifts
• Engaging with guests in a warm, welcoming, joy-forward way
• Learning and confidently speaking to our small-batch roasted coffees and rotating origins
• Supporting a team-first environment rooted in respect, care, and collaboration

• Experienced with semi-automatic espresso machines (required)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Calm under pressure and able to stay focused when the bar is full
• Detail-oriented while still moving with urgency
• Naturally positive, high-energy, and people-focused
• A strong communicator who works well with a team
• Curious and eager to learn about coffee, origins, and flavor
• Someone who believes hospitality is about connection, not just transactions

This is not a plug-and-play barista job.
