Associate Attorney-Single Action Employment Litigation

Prominent Plaintiffs' firm is seeking Associate Attorneys for there Employment Single Action Department. These attorneys are expected to take significant responsibility in managing cases, while honing their skills through mentorship by award-winning attorneys. As an Associate, you will be part of a team focused on retaliation and harassment, unpaid wages, leaves of absence, and wrongful termination single action cases. Our team fights and wins some of the largest workplace settlements and verdicts achievable.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.

Take and run depositions and meet and confers.

Conduct ADR mediations and negotiations.

Develop and deliver arguments and represent clients in employment matters.

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

At least two years of experience specializing in employment litigation.

Superior analytical and legal research skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to think creatively and strategically.

Exceptional organizational skills, including time management.

Ability to type 40 wpm.
