Job description

• Oversees the daily construction activities at a work site.
• Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials.
• Works with contractors to complete project within the given budget and time frame.
• Resolves contract disputes and arranges any necessary order changes.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Ensure job sites are clean at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night
• Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire crew
• Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks
• Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order
• Perform all duties assigned by the Construction Manager

• Ability to complete work on time and on budget with minimal supervision
• Experience on a construction crew preferred but not required
• Advanced organizational skills
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to pass drug and background screening
• Willingness to learn construction skills on-site
• Must be able to pass a workplace physical conducted by Concentra

• Typically Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability
