Hotel Restaurant - Greeter/Host

Position Objectives

Greeters/Hosts are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression of the Harvest Kitchen and Bar for our guests. This position has the ability to influence overall guest satisfaction while providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations. Greeters are also the final point of contact and help with ensuring guests leave happy and satisfied with their service.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) or older
• Preferred prior restaurant host experience
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Education & Skills

• Preferred; Food Handlers card
• Required; mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Required; effective oral and written communication skills in order to interact with all employee levels and guests within the hotel
• Required; Ability to multi task, prioritize and handle conflicting demands
• Required; Flexible with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing priorities and situations
• Required; Sold under pressure, professional and able to maintain composure in handing complaints and other feedback
• Required; Ability to meet deadlines without compromise
