Assembler / Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assembler/Machine Operator I to join our Conformal Coating team. In this role, you will operate specialized coating equipment used in electronic manufacturing to protect electronic assemblies and ensure product quality, durability, and reliability.

This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities for training and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor conformal coating machines to apply protective coatings
• Set up equipment and adjust processes to meet production and quality requirements
• Inspect coated electronic assemblies for defects such as uneven or incomplete coverage
• Perform routine quality checks and document results accurately
• Prepare and manage coating materials, including mixing and diluting solutions
• Maintain production logs, machine records, and quality documentation
• Follow all safety procedures related to equipment operation and chemical handling
• Support company quality policies and comply with the Quality Management System
• Identify and report nonconforming products and stop production when required
• Participate in ongoing training, cross-training, and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Electronic assembly experience preferred (6+ months ideal)
• Experience with conformal coating equipment is a plus
• U.S. citizenship or green card required due to ITAR regulations
• Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well on a team
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 10–45 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Good eyesight with ability to adjust focus and distinguish colors
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or in other departments as needed
