Roofing Field Manager

Yancey Home Improvements is a well established family business and we are proud to provide the top Roofing Services in the Sacramento and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for our next Roofing Field Manager to join our family.

JOB SUMMARY

· Scheduling roofing projects and monitoring weather to reduce company liability.

· Supervise multiple jobsites and multiple roofing crews and sub contractors

· Responsible for doing pre-job & post-job inspections

· Adhering to project budgets

· Responsible for dry rot inspections

· Responsible for setting up and maintaining a safe job site

· Responsible for weekly safety training meetings with crews.

· Daily communications with the customer

· Evaluating change orders

· Performing repair estimates and doing repairs at times.

· Planning and executing a successful roofing project

· Work closely with an office assistant in ordering roofing materials and scheduling

· Responsible for payroll approval.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

· Must have a good working knowledge of all residential related roofing applications, including composition roofing, tile roofing, TPO roofing and torch down roofing, repair estimating and overall knowledge of the various types of flat roofing application.

· Requires excellent communication, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills and use of excel.

· Ability to speak Spanish, even if broken Spanish.

· A valid state driver’s license is required

· 5+ year’s supervisory experience in roofing

· This is an exempt position and working hours are as needed which can include evenings and weekends at times, mostly due to extreme weather.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

· Paid Sick Pay, Vacation, and Holidays

· Salary plus commission paying $85,000 to $100,000 depending on experience.
