Logistics Clerk - Full-time

Samtec is seeking an inventory / logistics clerk to work first shift in the Colorado Springs, CO facility. First shift is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. 

1. Pay is $18.25 - $ 18.75 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
2. Standard benefits are medical (HSA/PPO) dental, vision, group life, AD&D, short and long term disability, EAP, 401K plus other voluntary options, as well as paid time off.

Associate will receive, pack and process production orders properly and prepare them for export by complying with the different specifications of each package and following the guidelines of the customers.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

1. Prepack: Verify, count and pack orders properly and prepare them for shipment.
2. Staging: Scanning of prepacks on designated shelves using the Precision program.
3. Picking: Collection of the orders by means of sessions in the Precision program for the consolidation process (multiple lines of the same client in a single shipment).
4. Boxing / Billing: Process orders World Direct being responsible for operating Carrier systems (UPS, DHL and FedEx)
5. Provide outstanding customer service to our customers

Required Experience:

1. Strong computer skills
2. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
3. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.

Preferred Education:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (supply chain, accounting, finance, etc.)

Training required:

1.  On the job training as appropriate.
