Part-Time Malouf Outlet Operations Associate

Position Summary

The Malouf Outlet is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Outlet Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our outlet location. This role is responsible for maintaining an organized, clean, and well-stocked outlet environment and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working independently while supporting a small retail team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations during scheduled shifts

• Restock, stage, and merchandise products to maintain an organized and shoppable sales floor

• Review inventory levels and assist with basic inventory tracking and organization

• Sort, evaluate, and prepare returned items for resale

• Assist with pricing and repricing merchandise as needed

• Maintain back-of-house organization, including returns, storage, and overflow areas

• Coordinate with management regarding inventory needs, merchandising priorities, and operational improvements

• Provide guidance and support to outlet staff as needed during shifts

• Ensure the outlet remains clean, safe, and well-presented at all times

Qualifications

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to take initiative

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, moving, and staging product

• Ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day decisions

• Retail, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred

• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

• Flexible availability, including weekdays and occasional Saturdays

Schedule & Hours

• Part-time position averaging 12–15 hours per week

• Primary schedule: Wednesday–Friday afternoons

• Hours may vary week-to-week based on inventory flow and operational needs
