Leasing Consultant

Position Overview

The Apartment Leasing Consultant is the face of the community, responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting day-to-day leasing and administrative operations. This role requires strong sales skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and conduct in-person, phone, and virtual tours
• Lease apartments and meet or exceed occupancy and leasing goals
• Follow up with leads and maintain accurate prospect tracking
• Process rental applications, verifications, and lease paperwork
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies
• Assist with resident relations, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs
• Support marketing efforts, outreach, and community events
• Maintain a professional and welcoming leasing office environment
• Work closely with the property management and maintenance teams

Qualifications

• Previous apartment leasing experience required
• Strong sales, customer service, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
• Experience with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio, etc.) preferred
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability
