Upholstery: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm $17hr. Temp to Hire

UPHOLSTERER:

seeking a hard-working, motivated, and energetic individual to join our growing team as an Upholsterer. The selected individual will be responsible for the preparation of wood/plastic components for multiple seating products along with attaching fabrics using staples and adhesives. This position involves repetitive motions including standing, bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting.

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Upholstery, or a willingness and dedication to learn these skills

· Utilize tools such as pneumatic staple gun, scissors, staple puller, pliers, tape measure, and adhesive spray guns

· Able to Understand, Read, and Write English is preferred

· Able to lift 40Lbs minimum unassisted (Anything over 40Lbs will be “Team Lifting”)

· Able to stand 8 hours per day

· Able to follow instructions, written and verbal

Pay range $17-$18 hr.

HRS 8:30am-4pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receiving

• Review inbound product for integrity (damaged, wrong/missing product, etc.)
• Process receipts in WMS

Inventory Control

• Stock inventory in correct rack, bin, and floor locations
• Label all boxes, pallets, specification sheets, and promotional items
• Perform physical inventory counts as required

Shipping

• Pick and package products for shipping
• Ensure product is packaged using appropriate boxes and dunnage to minimize damage and freight cost
• Ship according to order requirements (FEDEX, UPS, LTL) and ensure shipping fee policy is adhered to

Maintains a safe, clean working environment

Performs additional related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Previous experience with ERP and/or WMS systems

Experience with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip a plus, but not required

Strong inventory control skills

Acute attention to detail

On your feet all day

Must speak English or bilingual
