This role offers the chance to work within a community hospital emergency department, providing comprehensive emergency care in a well-supported setting with a Level 3 trauma designation.

Practice Environment This opportunity is based within a community hospital emergency department in Dublin, Georgia. The department manages a steady flow of patients with a typical mix for a sole community hospital, supported by normal ER staff and triage systems for lower acuity cases. Providers will work in Meditech Expanse EMR, managing a broad spectrum of emergency presentations.

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of emergency patients
• Management of medical and traumatic emergencies
• Collaboration with nursing, support staff, and consulting services
• Documentation and order entry within Meditech Expanse
• Managing an average ED admission rate of 15%

Candidate Requirements

• MD degree
• Boarded or eligible in Emergency Medicine (must be within 5 years of training)
• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
• Successful completion of EM residency
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred; new grads considered
