Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. + 10 %pay differential for overnight shifts
Schedule Options (Fixed Shifts):

Sun – Wed:

  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 5:30 AM)

Wed – Sat:

  • Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

 

About the Role:

The Company is on a mission to improve the quality, speed, and accessibility of scientific research by supporting scientists in biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic industries. As a Lab Operator, you’ll receive comprehensive lab and safety training to run critical lab protocols at our Austin facility.

We are actively hiring detail-oriented individuals for contract positions with potential for full-time hire, based on performance. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a lab operations setting and grow your career in the biotech space.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute laboratory protocols with precision, following detailed written instructions
  • Perform experiments and processes involving small components and parts
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant lab environment
  • Use software tools to log and track procedures accurately
  • Handle and move materials and lab components in accordance with safety standards
  • Work on your feet for the full duration of the shift (excluding breaks)
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts across lab operations

 

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and diligent
  • Able to follow written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with lab safety guidelines and proper use of PPE
  • Must be flexible to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed
  • Able to lift and handle materials within OSHA safety limits

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory or regulated manufacturing setting (pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, automotive, etc.)
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments is a strong plus
  • Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience or a related bachelor’s degree may be considered for direct full-time hire
