Pay: $22-28/HR

Shift: 2nd or 3rd shifts available

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of machinist experience in a mechanical or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience using machine shop tools and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and written procedures.
• Experience with designing and building manufacturing tooling preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Monitor production and assembly operations to verify adherence to established quality and production standards.
• Recommend and support process adjustments to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Inspect, test, and measure in-process and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Operate electronic inspection equipment and quality software to document inspection results.
• Evaluate and disposition raw materials and finished goods by approving or rejecting items based on quality standards, while documenting supplier performance.
• Identify, segregate, and remove nonconforming materials and products from production areas.
• Record and report inspection and test data, including weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
• Utilize advanced inspection equipment such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and 3D scanning systems.
• Prepare and submit inspection findings, test results, and quality reports to Quality Management.
• Assist production teams with quality-related support and issue resolution as needed.
