SUMMARY
We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Pump Assembly & Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling, disassembling, hydrostatic and performance testing of pumps, diagnosing and repairing service jobs, and supporting warehouse operations such as inventory management, order fulfillment, prepping, painting, and packaging. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble pump and parts orders accurately.
- Disassemble and repair pumps as required.
- Conduct hydrostatic and performance testing of pumps.
- Receive and stock inventory; ensure accurate part identification.
- Pull, assemble, and prepare parts orders for shipment.
- Prep and paint pump and parts orders.
- Package and ship pump and parts orders securely.
- Adhere to company safety practices and processes at all times.
- Support multiple areas of the shop as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and reading diagrams/blueprints.
- Manufacturing plant or carpentry experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of work tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two years of mechanical assembly experience.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment preferred.
- Forklift and/or crane experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Shop and warehouse environment with physical tasks including lifting, assembling, and painting.
- Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE.
- Collaboration with team members across multiple functions.
